Fishburners Circular Hub Accelerator Program cohort announced

Boomerang Labs is proud to collaborate with Fishburners in presenting the 2023 Circular Hub Accelerator Program, supported by the City of Sydney. The12-week accelerator program designed for circular startups encompasses one-on-one and small group coaching and mentoring from curated pool of experts, 24 / 7 startup support via the Fishburners Founders Hub, an opportunity to pitch at Demo Day, to an audience of investors, industry experts, potential partners and customers, and a community and network of entrepreneurs innovating for a better world.

Mentors for the program include Sona Jain, Dylan Lamb, Vijay Solanki, Anne Widjaja, James Crowther, Sabrina Zeng, Dr Leila Alem, Nonny Bell, Vidit Agarwal and Martin Karafilis.

Rebecca Illingworth, Founder of Minitrove - a marketplace connecting buyers and sellers of pre-loved baby, children, and maternity items, reducing waste and promoting affordability in the parenting realm.

Peter Hogan and (Bob) Weihai H., Co-Founders of Veritas Tech - building a digital infrastructure layer supporting smart digital assets, including a project gamifying the circular-to-earn process.

Jack Steele and Shell Holterman, Co-Founders of Whattle - a fashion and accessories trading/exchange hub focused on helping users shop freely, building community, and minimising their environmental footprint.

James Stewart and Michael Hallam, Co-Founders of Always Carbon - scaling up permanent carbon removal by turning plant wastes into charcoal (biochar), transforming a cost to agribusinesses into a revenue source and useful resource.

Manoli (Emmanuel) Politis, Joana Oliveira and Julian Cincotta, Co-Founders of Betizen - a rewards-based reusable container scheme, using a food grade container made from post-consumer bulk packaging hospitality waste.

Patria Harris and Abbey Ridley, Co-Founders of Bidra - a marketplace for vintage, second hand & upcycled furniture & homewares, making it easy & convenient for people to buy second hand furniture.

Nehal J., Co-Founder of after_au - a service empowering consumers and businesses to dispose of textiles ethically through textile waste collection and recycling.

Janaki Patel and Amanda L., Co-Founders of emforce - high-quality medical scrubs designed with end-of-life in mind, changing the way humans in healthcare look, feel and move every day.

Kirsten Lunoe, Alexandra Smart GAICD and Paul Bennell, Co-Founders of Cirkl-Tek - transforming organic agricultural and food-processing by-product into vegan textiles that are 100% compostable at end-of-life.

Hester Fleming, Founder of Hester Fleming Vintage - an e-commerce platform selling curated collections of vintage costume jewellery, saving these pieces from landfill and reducing fast fashion waste.

Dhani D'Arcy, Founder of Florada - a low-waste Sydney-based florist pioneering change in the floral industry through low-waste design, educational workshops, and seasonal flower deliveries.

Gaurav Rana, Founder of Get Furnished - a subscription service offering sustainable, turnkey furnishing solutions, including electronics, for rental properties.
